Avery

Avery Christine Bouck was born on March 19th at 1:03 pm weighing in at 8lbs. 6oz. and 19 inches long. We're so excited that she's finally here! I'll post more about the birth after I get a few more hours of sleep but I promised I would post our most recent pictures.
Me and Avery 15 minutes after the traumatic delivery (traumatic for me that is). That smile definitely wasn't there when my epidural decided not to take.

Figuring out what's going on.

Just hanging out with dad.

Mike and Avery.

Congratulations! I can't believe how BIG she is!! And it is so not fair how nice you look after just having a kid... She's absolutely beautiful! I can't wait until we can meet her. You are such a trooper Lo!

YAY!! She's a cutie! Seriously, you look great for just having a baby. I always look like a got ran over by a truck. My epidural didn't work with Lily either and it WAS traumatic. So sorry that happened to you, too. (maybe it was the same anesthesiologist?)

Congrats! She's beautiful and you look great too. I love the name you picked. So glad everything went well (except for the epidural that is).

I was in Folsom Fri. (w/o my kids) and almost stopped in to see you (and Jill), but figured coming unannounced wasn't so cool. I agree w/ the others - you look gorgeous having just had a baby. I'm like Carrie - my pics always look like I've been run over by a truck too!

Anyway, glad everyone is doing well. Let me know if you need anything!

Congrats! I am so excited for you. You are impressive with getting your pictures up. I guess i should stop being such a slacker. Are you serous about the lack of epidural? I love the name you chose :)

Congratulations! We are so excited for you. I've been filled in a little by Jill, but I love a good birth story, so you'll have to share :) She is beautiful!

Hooray - no more prego!! I knew you were due any day, so I was so excited to see your post - especially the title of it! I kept meaning to respond and tell you that we would absolutely NOT be offended if you named your daughter Avery. It's not like we have ownership over it or anything! I think it's so fun that we both have Avery's now. Just one more thing to chalk up on our "things in common" wall.

And, yes, I would have to agree with everyone else that you looked way too beautiful after having a traumatizing birth. I am sorry you felt the pain and agony of delivering a baby without an (effective) epidural. Makes you wonder by crazy people like me do that by choice. I'm still trying to figure that one out. Anyway, congratulations!! I do hope you get some sleep soon and thanks for the post. Welcome baby Avery :)
