Hawaii

Mike and I were able to head over to Hawaii for 8 days to spend some time exploring the island of Maui and hanging out with his parents and some of his siblings. Needless to say, we had a blast. Thanks Dick and Judy for the accomodations! We're definitely glad that Drew is in our family, but next time, we'll try to time it better to where we don't have to bring any babies with us.

Mike and I did a zip line course up near a volcano and had such a good time.

Mike had a great time swimming in the waterfalls and cliff jumping into these lakes (without his wife's permission...of course).

Oh man, how fun! You'll have to tell us all the cool places you went to. Tom and I want to go to Maui for our next getaway.

Oh! I'm trying not to be jealous :) It looks like you had a wonderful time! I've never been to Maui - so I'll have to pick your brain sometime.

Were you scared doing the zip line? Looks like you guys had fun! We took Trevor with Brent's side of the family when he was 8 months old from the East Coast (6 hr time change) and I swore I would NOT take kids to Hawaii again. :)

Oh, how wonderful that looks!! I am glad you got to get away and spend some time in "paradise"! And I am so with you on the vacations without babies thing ;) Maui is so wonderful - I went there with my family after I graduated high school and loved every minute of it!

Laura! It's been way too long since I've been on here. Congrats on your sweet little Drew. I have an immediate love for anyone with that name. My Drew is almost 4. So happy to see such a great update! Love, Kara

I haven't checked in with you for a while-- congratulations on your new baby! What a cutie. And I wish I had known you were in Hawaii! I would have waved at you from our island. :) Take care,
